Arm and train a certain percentage of the staff of every school enabling them to protect the students against any threat

A quick look at recent history shows that the majority of mass killings in America have taken place in areas where guns are prohibited; schools, the workplace, etc. Gun Control seems to be a popular proposal, however extremely ineffective, as the only people hurt by it are law abiding citizens. The best solution is to further exercise our 2nd Amendment rights. Our ancestors didn't spill their blood for nothing. Arm principals, vp's, and teachers. Train them how to handle their firearm, and how to react in an active shooter scenario, just as police are trained. The guns should be kept in safes that only authorized staff have access to. There is no reason any student should be shown the gun, or told where it is. If a teacher can't be trusted with a gun, they should not be trusted with a kid.
