We petition the White House to ensure that some rank or ranks of the military carry arms when on duty on military installations. An example would be to require army sergeants and captains to carry an approved firearm on some, most or all military installations. This proposal is to help ensure safety at facilities such as Fort Hood and the Navy Yard, by ensuring that personnel can fight back when attacked.
