Arm the Secret Service and personnel providing security to government buildings with double-barrel shotguns.

Recently Joe Biden has offered the readers of Parents magazine (and by extension, the rest of America) some very good advice regarding self defense. He has urged those concerned about personal protection to buy a shotgun, and he offers strong points for his position. Double-barrel shotguns- he says- are easier to control, easier to aim, and more effective with less ammunition than pistols and semi-automatic rifles. He goes on to say that "two blasts" from a shotgun are sufficient "if ever there is a problem." Everyone agrees that the President, Vice President, other high level members of government, and the buildings and facilities where these people work every day are in need of the best protection available. Security needs the best equipment available, thus needs double-barrel shotguns.
