We need a Federal fund that can sponsor every states to have armed school security officers. This should be mandatory and nationwide. Trained armed security officers can respond to a shooting situation before Police Officers and SWAT Team arrive at the incident site. The time on a response situation is critical to stop an aggression and reduce the percentage of casualties. Schools have to be secure and safe for students and educators. Unarmed security officers are useless in a armed situation. We need to protect our children by been proactive. How many tragedies do we need more, and how many young lives we need to lose to change the way we do security in school?
