Since the President uses armed Secret Service agents and armed military to guard himself and the White House, he should afford the same luxury to schools. If we know unequivocally that armed guards work well to deter, prevent, and eliminate threats of gun violence and attacks at the White House and the U.S. Capitol, why is having armed guards not the answer at schools?
Please have President Obama, Mayor Bloomberg, Governor Cuomo, and all celebrities advocating disarmament of law-abiding Americans to lend some of their armed guards to help protect innocent school children from gun violence. If they believe the life of these children is so precious, they will gladly oblige.
