Per Army regulation AR40-3 only active duty soldiers can donate an organ to a soldier in need. Anyone should be allowed!

Created by T.L. on June 17, 2014

Per Army Regulation "AR 40-3" only an Active Duty soldier can donate an organ to another injured or sick military member. I served 5 years in the US Army and now im being told that because I am not currently active duty I will not be given the opportunity to donate a critical organ to save the life of a service member in need. Any person regardless of being civilian status, retired staus, or active duty military should be given the opportunity to be evaluated for organ transplant to save the life of a soldier. This is America and we support our troops.
