This petition is in response to a blog by George Takei, wherein he laments the slim possibility that he would be allowed to fly an F14. (Note the original article here: http://www.allegiancemusical.com/blog-entry/hey-i-want-fly-f-14 )
There are likely many such aircraft still in service, and in light of George's great contribution to our nation in the form of his advocacy for equal rights, I would like to ask that we commit to make one available to him for a short flight, on the condition that he completes appropriate training and acquires appropriate license to fly this type of aircraft.
