We ask that you please direct Federal law enforcement, to arrest and prosecute, every single person from a prohibited class that illegally attempts to buy a firearm, by lying on the background check. Prosecutions of this felony occur in fewer than %1 of all cases. Those denied purchases likely go on to buy a gun on the streets. It is vital that we get these people off the streets, before they have the opportunity to buy gun. Prosecution of these criminals will reduce violent gun crime; making our streets safer.
