We, the undersigned, believe Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is guilty of violating federal and state laws that prohibit incitement of hate crimes and the instigation of violence through "fighting words."
Trump's racist demagoguery is not a joke. Minorities attending Trump rallies have been attacked by his supporters, even as Trump verbally incites violence.
Please direct the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate, arrest, charge and prosecute Donald Trump for federal hate crimes incitement as well as to assist any related state investigations.
Please also send DOJ civil rights monitors to all Trump campaign rallies to witness and gather evidence on his hate crimes incitement.
Donald Trump is not above the law, and must be held accountable for his criminal actions.
