Our pledge of allegiance states that there should be "justice for all." Justice doesn't just mean that we should be treated equal or fairly, but also that we should bring people TO JUSTICE when they commit a crime. Congress knows that they are trading stocks with advanced information (ex: fed chairman Ben Bernake). They know what they are doing can be classified as insider trading yet they turn the other cheek. Lawmakers should not be immune to laws just because they create them. Rajaratnam got 11 years in prison for insider trading, how many years should a congressman get? Why are they immune to insider trading laws? How much more will congress abuse their power at the expense of the American people?
