Too many innocent Americans are arrested due to their identity being used. Now I understand if your ID is stolen it would be hard for law enforcement to argue with the fact that it seems the person using the ID is that person but when law enforcement can take just a name and birth date and issue a warrant without verifying the identity by investigating proper identification, which law enforcement has access to, I feel this is an unjust cause for a warrant. Innocent Americans lives are damaged due to this unjustful action. Loss of work, embarrassment due to the arrest, having to find a way out of jail for a crime they did not commit. Being able to issue a warrant with such little information is unacceptable. There needs to be a more accurate procedure in verifying identity for a warrant.
