Please explain to me why it is that we are not at the Arctic, and Antarctic mining for fresh water ice, and collecting fresh water ice melt. This slows or fixes the following :
1. Fresh water is melting and diluting salt ocean waters...which may already be causing dramatic weather patterns. It seems to me that collecting it will slow this down.
2. The rising of the ocean levels. Mining may slow it.
3. in the coming decades- 1/6th of the population's fresh water from glaciers will disappear. A billion people.
4. Creates jobs
5. Where did the people that settled the west, dragged gold out of the Rockies, help started the industrial revolution, won the space race, and built the internet go?
Where's the innovation-
H/s railways ,Space, Mine the poles...why aren't we doing these things??
