Ascertain that perpetrators of Domestic Violence are being held accountable for their actions by the Judicial System.

Domestic Violence is prevalent in today's society and often goes unnoticed simply due to the victim being scared into submission by the perpetrator. Law enforcement need to press charges against Perps. of violence if warranted even when the victim does not. When children are present, there should be a more stringent sentence. Immediate removal of the Perp. from the residence and Protective Order is of utmost importance and should not be taken lightly. Prosecutors need to press charges when cases are brought to their attention especially when the victim has been choked, bit on the face, received death threats, suspected attempted poisoning and Murder for Hire Plot against her was initiated by the Perp. Custody of Children should never be given to a Perp. which dismaly happened in my case
