ask the AG and DOJ to enforce the Sherman Antitrust Act to break up residential high speed Internet monopolies.

Created by A.V. on April 02, 2013

We would like the department of justice to file an anti-trust suit against major cable television providers for violating the Sherman Antitrust Act by manipulating and monopolizing on residential high speed Internet service by preventing competition and delivering substandard broadband Internet service at inflated prices. What we would like as a resolution is cable television providers being forced to allow competing high speed internet providers access to their lines at cost and allow competition like the telephone companies were required to do so after the 1984 Bell System divestiture. I would also like to see the FCC to allow state public utilities commissions the authority to regulate Internet providers in areas with limited competition.
