Congress does not represent the best interest of their constituents because of politics and special interests. The President should ask all Congress to resign immediately in favor of a true democracy to take its place. We do not believe our founding fathers wanted the government to have this kind of power. Congress was supposed to represent us and more often than not they fail to create common sense policy that ordinary people do every day like balancing a budget. The only reason the founders set up a representative Congress was because it was impractical for every citizen to travel to Washington and participate in the legislative process. Now the internet allows all citizens the right to participate. We don’t have a need for representatives anymore so let the people do it themselves.
