ask all Smartphone manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, Windows) to allow consumers to delete unwanted applications from phone

As Americans, when we purchase a smartphone, we expect that the majority of that data will be of our preferences and memories. Many consumers do not prefer Apple Maps to Google Maps. Likewise, many of us do not want to support U2 by having them force themselves unto us, hack into our phones, and take up precious space for the cost conscious consumer. Simply owning an iPhone does not mean that I want U2 to force themselves upon me. However, when music that we do enjoy, or apps that we prefer to use (Weather Channel, Google Maps) are available, we should be encouraged to use our phones in a way that we see fit. Smartphones have taken place as our camera, daily planners, and radios. Free us from the oppression of these manufacturers. Ask them give us our gigabytes back!
