Ask American Airlines to keep the AA logo on a small part of the plane (such as the wheel doors, engine, or winglets).

Although American Airlines had to make a newer look in order to escape the current sinkhole it is in, the classic AA logo has been an icon for the United States since the logo was made in the 60's. The Space Shuttle 747 carried the famous American stripes on the side and them classic logo stayed on American Airlines planes for almost 50 years. Although American needs a new livery in order to appear as a better airline that it currently is, American should not abandon their roots and leave the iconic AA logo with the eagle on a small part of the aircraft such as on the winglet, engines, or landing gear doors so that the classic logo can live on without affecting the appearance of the plane.
