So may Holy Trinity deign to heal the United States of moral, economic and spiritual decay in which human folly and pride unfortunately led the nation, the undersigned request to President Obama to head to the U.S. Catholic bishops and ask the Successors of the Apostles to trust the country to maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, so that the divine assistance given to Her when she raised Our Lord Jesus Christ may incur on behalf of the nation supernaturally given to Her as daughter by the hands of American bishops.
