We respectfully request of President Obama that he ask for the resignation of CIA Director John Brennan.
Director Brennan, in his official capacity, has chosen to defend past instances of torture committed by the CIA and continues to claim, despite all available evidence, that those methods resulted in actionable intelligence. His actions and statements are not only morally and ethically questionable but are inconsistent with both the official position of the President and with American values and ideals.
It is our judgment that, having prioritized the reputations of the CIA and of his former bosses above the best interests of both the Nation and the Administration, Director Brennan is insubordinate and, as such, is unfit to continue serving in his present position.
