Ask combat personnel what firing mode they would use for the majority of engagements, then report it to the public.

I want people to know what is common for combat personnel. The difference between an AR-15 and a M-16, as far as I know, is that the AR-15 is always in semi-automatic and cannot be changed. My understanding from talking to a few friends in the military is that under most circumstances, soldiers in combat will use semi-automatic fire. I want this to be looked at seriously and reported to the general public. Let them do what they want with the information.
