Pete Rose was suspended from eligibility from enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame in August of 1989. He has admitted to betting on Baseball and has made amends and taken responsibility for his transgression. By suffering this penalty for nearly 24 years he has more than paid for his crime. Some murderers get less of a sentence in this country. Every single one of those hits were his. It's time that Pete Rose be eligible for the Baseball Hall of fame.
