Ask Congress to allow businesses to donate money to families in poverty as unclaimed income to strengthen US mid-class.

Created by M.J. on June 08, 2014

We want companies to be able to donate up to $10k per year to families within the poverty threshold and to allow that money to be considered unclaimed income so it will not impact their ability to continue to receive assistance where needed and so that these families are not pushed into a higher tax bracket.

We submit that this will help to rebuild our nation's middle class to where it was in the 1950's and 60's and will strengthen our overall economy.

There are companies who are willing to do this, but the current tax and assistance ramifications would negate the positive intentions of these companies and would actually have a negative financial impact on some.

Please help us to help these private companies help our less fortunate families.
