This petition is desiring all debt to be paid for so our children can be free from our national debt. It is my understanding that President Lincoln used a greenback dollar that went through congress, not backed by a bank, to fully fund the Civil War. When the Civil War was over the dollar went back to a central bank note. May our children be truely born free!
