Our health care system is the most inefficient among the developed countries of the world. Also, there are instances of unexplainable poor effectiveness such as maternal mortality. The World Health Organization ranks the developed countries of the world according to their maternal mortality rate. Our country ranks 41st worst among these 43 developed countries.
