Ask Congress to commission a ship after formal Navy Seal Chris Kyle. USS Chris Kyle will honor the true modern day hero.

Created by K.L. on March 14, 2013

Chief Chris Kyle (USN, honorably discharged in 2009) is one of the top snipers in the history of the American armed forces. From 1999 to 2009, he recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. Iraqi insurgents feared Chief Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head. After the Navy, Kyle paired with FITCO Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization which created the Heroes Project to provide free in-home fitness equipment, individualized programs, personal training, and life-coaching to in-need veterans with disabilities, those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Chris Kyle was shot by the fellow veteran he taken to the gun range in an effort to help him with his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
