The 14th Amendment states that "nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." I believe the definition of person should be included in the Constitution to clarify issues that have arisen in the past 40 years. I believe that an Amendment to the Constitution should be created that defines a person as being a member of the species homo sapiens from time of conception until the time in which all brain functions have ceased.
