It is not uncommon for corporations to ask job seekers to fill out a application even when a open job position has more applicants than would possibly ever be needed to find the best candidate or likely even future candidates for some time.
Some of are doing this for the sole purpose of selling these applicants personal information to credit collections and consumer information agencies.
This practice is comparative to hiding a credit card application in a job application or charging someone a fee & searching through their wallet to gain entrance to a job fair that has 200 other applicants already in line for one job.
This practice needs to stop as it is wasting the limited funds and time of people seeking gainful employment.
