Ask Congress to pass an Amendment that Congressional pay raises have to be approved by the American people.

Between 2000 and 2010, Congress increased its own pay from $141,300 to to $174,000. Why should members of Congress be allowed to decide how much they make without the people's approval? I bet all Americans wish they could decide when they get pay raises. According to the U.S. Census, the per capita income in America is $27,915; that's 6.2 times less than members of Congress in 2010. The median household income in the U.S is only $52,762. Maybe the reason Congress doesn't understand the average Americans problems is because they aren't average Americans! We need an Amendment requiring Congressional pay raises to go on the General Election ballots.
