Ask the Congress to pass legislation that would give the President a Line Item Veto on all bills he must sign.

Currently, the President must sign the bill "as is" or veto the entire bill and send it back to Congress If he wants his proposals to pass he must take the good with the bad. This means in order to get needed legislation passed (ie Healthcare, Jobs, etc.), he has to accept all of the earmarks that members of Congress have written into the bill that only benefit a particular interest group.
Granting the President a Line Item Veto would allow him eliminate the earmarks and sign the legislation that was intended before the earmarks were added.
We will be saving billions and making laws that benefit all of the people instead of just a few.
