Ask Congress to pass a resolution that endorses JJ Abrams' involvement in the inevitable Star Wars reboot.

Created by K.J. on February 04, 2012

Star Wars is ingrained in American culture. At one time it was one of our finest exports of theatrical entertainment, of which Star Wars' underlying themes echoed Americans' collective morality. George Lucas has since destroyed that thing which made Star Wars special, and he cannot be expected to do anything in his lifetime that will redeem the space opera in the eyes of Americans and foreign admirers. However, there is another. We call on President Obama to ask Congress to pass a resolution that endorses one J.J. Abrams to be included if not held wholly responsible for a Star Wars reboot. We feel that only then can our passion for Star Wars can be validated once more, along with our reluctance to sell our toy collections on eBay.
