The Child Support System in the United States has dramatically failed children. We ask that every child be added to the food stamp program regardless of income level and that they also be added to the Medicaid program for health insurance. This guarantees that every child has access to food and health care regardless of income level or family status. We believe that this will dramatically reduce the cost to both federal and state governments to administer existing child support operations. It is estimated that parents spend $500 billion per year to trial attorneys to fight over child support. To pay for this, we suggest removing the existing federal tax exemption for children for all tax payers.
