We would like Congress to take a blind/anonymous non-binding vote on the following issue:
"Yay or nay? Should we legalize marijuana and tax and regulate it in a similar manner and to similar levels as cigarettes and alcohol?"
The purpose of this vote would be to get a true picture of the personal opinion of our Congresspeople and their opinion as to the true representation of their constituents. A blind/anonymous vote attempts to "take politics out" of a very political issue.
