According to USCIS statistics there are just over 1,700 DACA petitions that were approved in September of 2012 and almost 27, 000 DACA petitions approved in October of 2012. With the renewal forms not being available until June 2014 and the current process taking up to and well over six month to be adjudicated, many of the pending renewals seem more likely to be processed well after the expiration of the initial DACA Approvals and the employment authorizations accompanying them. This is why we urge President Obama to direct Dept. Of Homeland Security and/or USCIS to adjudicate, issue extension of current DACA approvals and employment authorizations, or provide more information for the pending DACA renewals expiring September and October of this year.
