Calling for a DOJ investigation of D.A. Mike Carr of Jackson County IL home of SIU. for lack of investigation and prosecution of sexual assault and murder. A recent investigation of sexual assault prosecution rates compared to 32 local counties show Jackson County has the worst prosecution. Resulting in failure to prosecute 90% of sexual assault cases regardless of the evidence or state laws regarding the handling/investigate of such cases. In both cases lack of investigation of evidence and those directly involved has resulted in no prosecutions.
