For decades Americans have been forced to endure supposed hits like "Two Tickets to Paradise" and "Baby Hold On" with alarming regularity. All this despite at least one independent study revealing that no living American wishes to hear these songs ever again.
Children exposed to this pointless sonic fodder in utero during the 1980's and 90's demonstrated that it likely served as 'gateway' noise. They now ingest utterances by the likes of Justin Bieber and Meghan Trainer (All About That Bass) and accept those as viable forms of entertainment.
As an aside, we also request that an exploratory committee be formed to look at the potential negative impact of repeated exposure to 'Crocodile Rock' and Billy Idol's 'Mony Mony' cover.
