Ask the FDA to lift the ban on homosexuals from donating blood.

Created by D.G. on July 08, 2013

Since 1982, those who have had sexual intercourse with people of the same sex have been banned from donating blood indefinitely. The law was based off of unknown knowledge of HIV, and due to new knowledge and scientific outcomes, should be reviewed by the FDA. This will not only give more rights to those who are interested in same sex activities, but will also help the FDA in accruing more donors from a country where blood donations are frequently scarce.
