ask Google to provide better Android privacy controls.

Created by M.B. on December 14, 2013

Google has recently been an advocate for privacy and protection against unlawful intrusions online.

Android is one of the largest operating systems in the world and their privacy issues affect millions.

We expect the same privacy protection from Google. Recently, Google removed a privacy option, App Opps in the Android OS that gave advanced privacy and security controls. It allowed the blocking of permissions when installing apps.

Not all apps need access to your location, contacts or other personal information. Many users install these apps without realizing the privacy issues involved.

Some apps are malicious or violate privacy without the user's consent (FCC Vs. Goldenshores Technologies, LLC aka Brightest Flashlight Free).

Please sign the petition to have Google protect consumers.
