We the people ask the federal government to Tell us what the federal government is doing about an issue:

Ask the government to extend its contract with ICANN

Created by D.J. on September 26, 2016

If the U.S. government loses its control of ICANN, the loss could jeopardize not only private, corporate, and government websites, it could also jeopardize international security as foreign governments can more easily shape the internet to their will, and have the internet and other vital computer services vulnerable to censorship and hacking and other things that could disrupt commmunication, which could lead to disaster on a mass scale.
