Ask Japan and South Korea to take over our responsibility along the DMZ, and close the U.S. Bases in Japan.

We have promised Japan to close the majority of Japanese bases by 2005. Seeing as they are still open, we need a solution that improves the situation for both nations. We should ask Japan and South Korea to take our positions along the DMZ in favor of a new Pacific Marine Expeditionary Unit. This will make our forces more mobile in the effort with North Korea, and remove the U.S. Bases in Japan.
