For more than three and a half months the legislative branch of our federal government has failed to adequately address the needs of unemployed Americans who have exhausted their state based unemployment benefits.
Instead of making the needs of the unemployed a top priority they have instead opted to wage partizan warfare at the expense of our and our families welfare.
To justify their selfish inactivity they say we the unemployed need to take their lack of action as a signal for motivation to find work.
Why not make them put their money where their mouths are? As our elected representatives they should freeze their pay until they either sign into law the extension of benefits or come up with a reasonable and actionable alternative.
