Somehow in 2013 segregation has been allowed to persist. The schools in Wilcox County in Georgia hold segregated proms every year. Biracial individuals have been turned away at the door. This year an African American woman was elected prom queen, but she wasn't able to attend the prom with her king because he is white.
This must stop. As the first African American president you should do everything in your power to stop these segregated proms. The teachers and chaperones would never dare to turn away the president of the United States just because he's black! Please give these students your support and they are sure to succeed.
