Ask the National Park Service to Reconsider its recent total ban on non-commercial drone flights over National Parks.

The right of amateurs to photograph National Monuments and Parks has never been prohibited. Now however, photography from a non-commercial RC flying platform commonly called a drone, IS prohibited without exception. The Park Service should reconsider this prohibition and perhaps allow such photography only with advance permission and/or other restrictions to protect the Parks, other visitors, security considerations and public safety. Our parks provide vistas and photos that are literally priceless, but as of now, photographers who want an "elevated" viewpoint or want to have an aerial map view other than "Google Earth" can not obtain it because the camera-carrying vehicle they bought for this purpose is senselessly prohibited rather than reasonably regulated.
