The Red, White, and Blue basketball is the iconic symbol of the old American Basketball Association ("ABA"). The ABA gave us the 3-point shot, as well as four current NBA teams -- the Spurs, Nuggets, Nets, and Pacers. The ABA played its first game on October 13, 1967. The NBA should celebrate the ABA's 50th Anniversary by playing all its games on October 13, 2017, with the old Red, White, and Blue basketball. If possible, those games could include nationally televised matchups between the old ABA rivals -- Spurs vs Nuggets and Nets vs Pacers, wearing throwback uniforms. Let's all celebrate some great American history!
