This is a petition to ask the pentagon to promote Col. Wendell Fertig to Brigadier general. Colonel Fertig led a combined Philippine/American guerilla force on the island of Mindanao which when Gen. McArthur landed there, totaled 200,000 a unit of this size in the regular army is commanded by at least a Major General. Please ask the pentagon to correct this injustice.
