Ask the President to accept NRA President Wayne LaPierre's invitation to a one hour debate on gun rights and gun law.

Created by M.S. on January 14, 2016

The NRA declined President Obama's invitation to his town hall discussion on gun violence. The NRA stated they did not believe the forum was transparent, and they objected to the fact that all questions would be pre-screened.

On January 13th, NRA President Wayne LaPierre posted a video, in which he offered to debate the president one-on-one about gun related issues. We believe it is the President's best interest, and the country's best interest to have this open dialog.

We request that President Obama accept Mr. LaPierre's request to hold this debate.
