Back in 1957 then President Dwight D. Eisenhower brought the Arkansas National Guard to allow nine (9) black students to attend school and thus breaking the back on segregation. We as a nation now face a new civil rights nightmare, but also more this building of a pipeline on to the sacred lands of the people of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe is yet another black eye of shame in the history of our nation. Mr. President I ask, beg even plead with you Federalize the guard and have them stand between the Police and the camps until a settlement can be reached between all parties. Do not let this be the last act of your presidency to allow dishonor to come to our nation. Like President Eisenhower did with proclamation 3204 you can do as well.
