My fellow Americans: After a fourth year of awkward, unfunny, and sometimes borderline painful humor and jokes from Ricky Gervais, we as a country have been left scarred and pessimistic. We miss Tina and Amy, but we cannot keep looking to the past, as Hollywood so often does. We are in need of something new. We are in need of change. President Obama has shown time and time again during interviews, campaign stops, White House Correspondents Dinners, etc, that he has a refreshing and witty sense of humor and I believe that he is the only worthy potential host of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. Once again, Barack Obama will represent hope and change that we so desperately need. Thank you, and God bless America.
