We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Ask President Obama to not issue decree on transgender access to school restrooms

Created by B.P. on May 12, 2016

The Obama administration issued a sweeping decree on May 13, 2016. Telling every U.S. public school district to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity.

The letter, signed by officials from the Education and Justice departments, does not have the force of law but contains an implicit threat that schools which do not abide by the Obama administration's interpretation of the law could face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid.

Please tell President Obama that "We The Parents" do not feel that this is in the best interest of our children. Please tell President Obama that our children need to feel safe in school so they can get an education. School age girls should not have to worry about boys, dressed like girls, following them into restrooms.
