We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Ask President Obama to Pardon a man that made a mistake at a early year in his life. And who has traformed his life.

Created by L.D. on July 24, 2016

Marcus Grim at Allendale correctional Institution was a under invested young Black man who moving with the wrong crowd made a crime that was bigger than he thought, a mistake that has trapped him behind bars. Prison being the only tool we have as a society to dole out correction. I believe the justice system has achieved it's aim with this man. He has grown to take responsibility beyond himself and is making a contribution to those within his reach and beyond within the prison walls and outside. We the people must recognize when we have achieve our aim and give second chances to those who are corrected. I call upon all who reads this to assist in getting President Obama to pardon this man so he can continue to make his contribution as a free man.
