In 1960 President Kennedy changed American Culture by not wearing a hat, outside, in public-thus making it publicly acceptable to do the same. If President Obama were to grow an "Afro" then it have a similar effect in undoing generations of Eurocentric racism in the way the nation views hair and the black body.
